“...Show me a presidential candidate who’ll even clearly, repeatedly and publicly promise to abolish the Dept. of Education...”

...And not call for the Dept of Ed abolition even to a TEA Party crowd. Sure it is not the best slogan for a general election but it is not that hard to make the case that the FEDERAL Department of Education spends billions and educates no one except for some overly costly and bureaucratically/inefficiently administered grants. The Dept is a waste!

Agreed. Most of us can see by looking at local political efforts, that most politically active people are trying to get funds for various wasteful and corrupt special interests. It’s difficult to believe that anyone in politics would be ignorant of what’s really going on.
