Food and shelter are FIRST on the list. Who the hell needs health insurance if you dont have anything to eat?
Food is cheap — yes, you need shelter, but given a choice between a 3 bedroom upscale apartment or a 2 bedroom lesser one AND health insurance, you should opt for the latter.
Bottom line — how much is your life worth? That’s what health insurance is for, to save your life, because you never know what can happen. People should not rely on the government to bail them out, because they have been irresponsible.
