Thatcher stabbed us in the back over Grenada!!!!!!!

Yet, we alienated our allies for her stupid, bloody, dog & pony show in the Malvinas. If the Argentines were commies, she'd have gladly stepped aside.

Thatcher worship from Americans makes me puke. She was a crappy ally.

Allies occasionally have differences, Grenada was a member of the Commonwealth, so you could see that it put Thatcher in a precarious position politically, seems that they worked through it in the end, that’s the way it goes . Hardly a “stab in the back.”

I suspect there is something else behind your derision of Thatcher.

"...we alienated our allies for her stupid, bloody, dog & pony show in the Malvinas."

They are called "The Falklands" for starters, and we put her under great pressure to give in to the Fascist Argentinians - but she held firm - for Britain. Good for her not wanting to be an American lap dog.
There - go ahead and puke your guts out.........

And thank god for Pinochet who aided Britain in her time of need.

I normally agree with you, but you have stepped in the mud this time.

Thatcher did what she had to do, politically. Nothing she did harmed us in any way. You have over-reacted to an insignificant press release. As Brit leaders go, Thatcher was superb.

Well, another bottomfeeder heard from. Fortunately President Reagan, who might have known a little more about it than you do, did not share your jaundiced perceptions. Maybe if you put the cork in the bottle now you'll feel better about it tomorrow.
