Eight days from the murder to the arrest. Not bad.
Now we want to know . . . why?

Why are so many thugs named Gonzalez? Could we just bury that last name and move on, see what happens?

Just two days after Bexar County Sheriff's Sgt. Kenneth Vann was honored by thousands at his funeral, local and federal officials on Sunday raided a far South Side house and arrested a man they said was responsible for the ambush style slaying last month. To know why you’d have to find out first where they intersected in their lives.
What was Vann’s job in the Sheriff’s dept—that would be the first place I’d look for that intersection?
In San Antonio it often doesn’t take much to set off a killing but a drive by with an automatic rifle sets off alarm bells in my mind.
