No, that’s a myth. There is nothing in the Texas State Constitution giving it the right to secede, split into 5 states or any other popular but untrue nonsense.

Yes, Texas is very military heavy. We have many more military installations than most other states. A good position to be in when we secede, which WILL happen eventually.
Actually, what I am referring to is HOW many call Texas their home state. They maybe stationed at Bragg, NC...but Texas is their home state. It is partly to do with no income tax. My daughter and son in law’s new assignment is Fort Sam but this is the first time ever they’ve been stationed in Texas. Texas is their home state and when filing taxes it is as a Texas resident. My granddaughter will be going to college at Texas A & M and will have in state tuition because Texas is her home state and she’s never lived here.
Just so; also it's the standard Chicago way: help your friends and punish your enemies. Of course Texas is no friend of jug ears. If the federales were constrained within Constitutional limits they wouldn't even have the ability to pull it off but we know how they feel about our Constitution -- and why.

Why shouldn’t you say it? We(Texans) were a proud republic once before. Indeed even after 165 years Texas pride still runs thou the veins of Texans. If the situation called upon us to raise our head among the nations of the world I know we could do it.
It is not so difficult a thing to be a independent nation, Texas is already a Nation onto her self in every sense of the world. What is difficult is standing up to and defeating an abusive tyrant, to reclaim our God given natural right to independence.
Don’t EVER be ashamed to stand up for liberty and the rights of man! It is he who ignore their importance or overlooks their loss that is the fool.
You need demonstrate their foolishness for the chains of abuse that now ensnare them will eventually become too tight for them them to ignore or escape. Let them be reminded of their foolishness now when they no longer have the strength to do something about it.
