Not necessarily. If you were guilty as sin, who would you prefer to preside over your investigation more than someone with as many skeletons as you have? Pelosi is positioning to cover for him, and spinning it like she has the high moral ground. Wiener's personality profile pretty much dictates that if he is thrown under the bus, he is going to take those who threw him under as well. Pelosi (et al.) can't have that. We just went through this very hypocrisy with Charlie Rangel.
