Britain's best-known youth movement is going gay-friendly.
The Scout Association has revealed plans to boost its number of gay members and leaders in a bid to banish the perception that homosexuals cannot sign up.
The half-a-million-strong movement has released a video as part of the campaign - which will also let Scouts attend gay pride parades in uniform.
The move has been praised for dragging the group into the 21st century. But some have slammed it for 'steering the organisation' away from its original Christian values.

I just got home from a Scout meeting in a new troop in which I am the Scoutmaster. If they were to try that over here, we’d be having a campfire that would consist completely of scout uniforms. I would disband our troop immediately.

A couple or three decades ago who would have thought Britain would succumb to leftist junk faster than the US.
As far as I know, the BSA's policy at the moment is no homosexual leaders, male or female. I know a woman who was a leader in my local Cub Scout Pack, but was asked to step down when she came out as a lesbian. She did, but then I think she tried to sue the Council and the Pack (and lost).

Actually, they elected their first socialist government under PM Ramsay McDonald back in the 30's, when FDR was president. They swung hard left only days after V-E Day, tossing Winston Churchill out of office in their first election in several years.
They have a long tradition of boys'-school homosexuality, and it has already borne poisoned fruit in the infamous Philby Ring of gay spies, who were recruited by a still-unidentified homosexual professor at Cambridge who was working for the NKVD. Dzherzhinsky and the NKVD specifically went after homosexual upper-class Britons and hit pay dirt. Philby did enormous damage to MI-6, and it is thought another gay mole was running MI-5 at the same time. On top of that, Philby heavily compromised the CIA from the moment of its inception, wangling temporary duty in DC and rifling CIA files for his KGB case officers.
Homosexuality is so entrenched in the British upper class, that newspapers can't even write about it -- the queers force retractions within hours, whenever a story appears.
