Sen. Chuck Schumer refused to answer questions Monday evening about the Twitter scandal that has ensnared Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), his one-time congressional aide.
But in a statement, the powerful Democratic senator said he was "deeply pained and saddened" about the married congressman's admission at a New York news conference Monday that he carried on lewd online conversations with at least half a dozen women.
"By fully explaining himself, apologizing to all he hurt and taking full responsibility for his wrongful actions, Anthony did the right thing," Schumer said. "He remains a talented and committed public servant, and I pray he and his family can get through these difficult times.”

Both Schumer and Weiner are world-class practitioners of “putzpah.”
We must keep this pervert as head of the parasite Dems in the house so we can make puns about his genitals on twitter. I do think he was sexting to minors and could definitely do pen time like anyone else doing this. There is a picture so grotesque that they wont show it! Did it go to girls under 18? He hasn’t ‘taken responsiblity’ for anything. He called a journalist a jack*ss, made lewd jokes to female reporters...lied, is a sick pervert whose wife knew it...
Neither has Schumer.
Okay, I need help. My religion forbids me from taking pleasure in someones downfall. Of course I’ll make exceptions for Osama Bin Laden and really horrific people and I’ll answer for that. But a guy like Weiner is in a different category. He’s such a jerk and an AH but he’s not Bin Laden. He’s about in the same category as Keith Olbermann. So what to do? Revel in this guys downfall or just feel sorry for him and be glad he’s gone? Any advice?

I believe Chucky found out about the pervert, set him up, and took him down. This whole thing is fishy. Maybe the Israelis knew about Weiner and told Schumer to shut him down when the kenyan tried to change the Israeli boundaries. Something like that.
It pains Chuck U Schumer, a putz himself, to see another putz, Wiener, get a well-publicized Brit milah performed in public, by a mohel like Brietbart. Oy vey, the shpilkus!
Never feel guilty in reveling over the demise of evil and make no mistake, evil is what Weiner is.
