A huge uprising would need to have the organization and command/control already in place. Without that I don’t think there will be much of a stir other than words and NRA claiming that it would have been worse without their negotiations.
If it did hit the fan, it’s worth noting that in both Iraq and Afghanistan, guns are not that big of a problem. We can’t seem to handle IEDs too well, though.

In fifteen minutes, you can have I-10, I-20, I-40, and I-80 blocked in both directions. Want to close a major airport, major harbor, major manufacturing plant, no sweat. That all can be done in 30 minutes too.
