While you are at it, check out Obama’s golf outings, trips to NYC for shows and flybys of AF1. Jeeeez! These libtards are actually certifiable. The new Coulter book nails ‘em!

I thought of Nancy Pelosi's $100,000 in two years on food and drink while flying to and from her home district.

That is $50,000 annually -- more on food and drink than the nation's median household income.

Has anyone asked the good Congressman for an accounting of his office budget, including travel?

Cheers!

This jackwad Oregon congressman has his nerve.

He talks about resources being diverted to Palin, giving her benefits that other Americans don’t receive.

And what about Obama? I live in Maine, and when he visited Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor last year, an endless number of Americans were inconvenienced and many suffered a financial loss.

The narrow two-lane highway, Route 3, that passed near the hotel which housed the Obamas, was completely closed during his stay. That made it very difficult to drive on Mount Desert Island, an area jammed packed with tourists in the summer. The Obama’s rented two floors of the hotel.

Meanwhile, there was supposed to be a craft fair at The College of the Atlantic near the Obama’s hotel. This craft fair was cancelled because of the Obama visit and the closure of Route 3. It was not possible to re-schedule the craft fair, and each vendor lost $2,000 in sales.

When Obama was eating ice cream cones on Main Street in Bar Harbor, the street was closed to most other people. A legally blind 87 year-old woman told me that the police took away her white cane, claiming it was a “weapon.” The cops hollered at her grand-daughter for walking on the same side of the street as Obama, even though he was many blocks away. Fishermen were not allowed to leave their docks and head out into the ocean while the Obama’s licked their cones.

Parts of Acadia National Park were closed when the Obama’s toured the area, and when their plane landed at the Bar Harbor / Trenton Airport, traffic on nearby roads was halted and people complained to me that they were late to work as a result.

Also, an aerial tour company based at the Bar Harbor Airport that gave tours of Acadia National Park and surrounding areas in their Cessna 172’s and sailplanes had to shut down for a few days, costing them $50,000 in revenue because of Obama’s latest vacation.

And the dims have the gaul to claim that Sarah Palin costs the taxpayers money and causes inconvenience to people?
Sure.

VERY good point. I know when the tarballs were washing up in Gulf Shores/Pensacola zer0 chose to stay in a huge hotel in Pensacola rather than at NAS Pensacola. They had to close down several street for his stay and he rented out a good portion of the hotel just for him and his entourage, when there were perfectly acceptable quarters available for his use at the NAS. What a jacka$$.
