Perhaps never a majority - but getting 20-30% of that vote should be a worthwhile goal and would have a major impact.

To say that "she hasn't been in the public eye" is flat-out ridiculous, and a complete falsehood.

nbenyo said completely the opposite.

Hardly a day has gone by in the three years since she's been a nationally known figure, that she hasn't had at least one article written about her, or has made waves all on her own in the press.

I believe that was precisely the point nbenyo was making. She has near 100% name ID, yet lags far behind Obama in all polls in landslide amounts - not just her support low, but Obama's also very high with her as the choice. That's what concerns nbenyo.

Yes, I misread what nbenyo said about Palin being in the public eye, but the point of my disagreement with his analysis is that no one is better positioned to take on Obama in 2012.

Too many folks on our side are still in thrall to the mainstream media when it comes to Palin, and continue to give credence to their 'analysis', polls, and pontifications about her.

All of it is a complete LIE, which is plainly evident by the fact that they are expending unprecedented levels of energy to derail her prospective run at the nomination, and to steer public opinion against her.

She has near 100% name ID, yet lags far behind Obama in all polls in landslide amounts - not just her support low, but Obama's also very high with her as the choice.

That statement is boilerplate perfect for one who has succumbed to the LSM brainwashing campaign against Palin. I would advise you and other Palin doubters to stop listening to what the LSM says, and watch what they do.

You didn’t know that, because it’s not true. Cain was born on December 13, 1945, and would be 67, not 74, when inaugurated. Doesn’t look it, IMO.

Gotta read the posts from the beginning. We were talking about Cain being Palin's VP and Cain becoming POTUS in 2020. Cain would be 74 in November, 2020.

Gotta find another good conservative VP for Palin in 2016 because very likely that person, like Reagan's Bush, will be elected POTUS in 2020. POTUS in 2020 also HAS to be a conservative for our wonderful country to survive, IMO.

Has anyone else noticed that Sarah Palin has alot of the “natural good looks” that Jackie Kennedy was famous for? I cannot help but wonder why he GOP doesn’t brand this woman the MODERN JACKIE KENNEDY with a conservative’s heart!

I am hereby ANNOUNCING that Sarah IS THE CONSERVATIVE JACKIE!

She's a babe. Definitely not a frump. Women need to see the real deal - a woman that loves being a woman, doesn't hate men, doesn't hate everything, and from what I can tell, fully embraces her femininity (and doesn't mind being called a "girl" because it's pretty obvious she still has her girlish playfulness - something I dare say most women these days have lost - sadly). I hope Sarah can inspire a new generation to embrace their God-given graces.

I think Palin's naturally better looking and more genuine than Jackie Kennedy who I think was trained with a more refined and elegant look. I think Sarah Plain may very well be the 2012 Margaret-Thatcher Iron-Lady Hand with the Jackie-Kennedy looks of the Velvet Glove.

:)
