The GOP would have gotten shouted down, even by many conservatives who were demogogued by Dems who incessantly shouted "It's all the banks' fault".

Confusion reigned. "Bush's fault" and "No TARP!" were the resounding choruses even among conservatives who should have known better.

If this book lays things out correctly it could indeed be a game-changer. However, I have had high hopes before that were dashed so I will have a wait-and-see attitude instead.

ta-da!!! there’s my greater point- they (GOP) fight like little girls....who cares if they were shouted down if they had a valid point and the principles to stand by it??? was the Tea Party embraced or shouted down at just about every possible corner??? i’m glad you think they’ll take up this sword and use it this time around cause i sure as hell don’t.....
