Sonny Perdue is the former Governor of Georgia.
Oops, my bad. Thanks for the correction. But he did sign on with Pawlenty this week didn't he? Or was it Bob Riley the former Governor of Alabama. Now, I'm confused.

theres nothing overtly wrong with Pawlenty. If you can stay awake while doing it, by all means, watch away!
That is his greatest weakness, IMO. The guy is DULL.... We've got to have a candidate with some fire in the belly.

Yes, Perdue jumped the rapidly sinking SS Newt to Pawlenty. I don’t know if Bob Riley has endorsed anyone.

I honestly can’t see Perry winning, maybe a bare 270-something if Obama is really unpopular in Nov ‘12. Too comparable to Bush.
The idea of Perry of all people riding in on white horse to save us, silly.

Not that I'm pushing Pawlenty as I haven't decided yet, but of all the declared candidates so far, I like him best of those I think can beat Obama.

Well Pence is running for Governor of Indiana so you can cross him off any veep lists.
DeMint would be a solid choice. Some are trying to draft him for President but I fear that’s a pipe dream, he doesn’t want to run.
McDonnell would help in a key state.
Midwest-Southern would be a good regional balance.
