Air Force One is quickly becoming President Barack Obamas 2012 campaign-bus. Next week, one of the two presidential Boeing 747s is scheduled to carry the president down to North Carolina and then to Florida, both of which are must-wins for his campaign.
The Florida visit was announced today, and followed yesterdays announcement by the White House that the President will fly to Durham, N.C., on June 13 to meet with his Jobs and Competitiveness Council at Cree Inc., a company that is developing new-generation lights. Todays announcement revealed the aircraft will next fly to Miami International Airport and depart the next morning.
The White House statement did not say what events are scheduled for Miami, nor if the POTUS and his entourage will be returning to D.C. that day, or jetting off to another location.
Both North Carolina and Florida are vital pieces of the Presidents 2012 victory-map. He won Florida handily in 2008, but the stalled economy, and a possible shift in the Jewish community, presages trouble for 2012. North Carolina voted narrowly for Obama in 2008, but Democrats say a rising share of Latino votes in the state may keep it in his column in 2012, even if the sour economy helps the GOP candidate win other states, such as Indiana and Ohio.
The visit also highlights the presidents CEO-stocked jobs council, and also his increased attention to manufacturing companies. On June 3, Obama visited Chryslers auto-plant in Toledo, Ohio, to tout his support for the auto industry, and on June 8, he visited Northern Virginia Community Colleges Alexandria campus to showcase his support for new industry-backed training programs.

and where is the GOP calling him out on this???? kerry used to call GWB “campaigner and chief”....why is the GOP not mocking zero for wasting taxpayer $$$ campaigning for re-election???
Hey zero ... come to Pennsylvania ... you faggot.
He definitely won't win NC this time around, and he'll probably lose Florida as well. So if these 2 states are 'vital' then Barak's in a heap of trouble.
Cree Reports Financial Results for the Third Quarter of Fiscal Year 2011

The government has set up many programs in the form of subsidies and tax breaks to encourage companies and households to go green. In many cases, the costs to switch to LED will be partially offset in the form of subsidies and/or tax breaks. These incentives are offered on the federal, state, utility, and local level.

What a joke this guy is. And where is the gutless spineless GOP calling him out on the War Powers Act as well as the fraudulent b/c he put out? Sounds like a criminal offense to me.
I want to know when all of ‘senator” Obama’s emails will be released to be combed over by the msm?
We are being gamed and nobody is willing to stand up for us.
It’s a damn shame that the American taxpayers have to pay for this bass turd to get himself reelected. Typical commie. Make someone else pay the bill.
Will they buzz New York again?
Third Party anyone? I believe that a 3P is doomed to failure, but the Country Club seems to have total control of the GOP - God help us!
fl and nc are not must wins for obama. He can win easily even if losing both.
take back gop, that’s the only solution. No more fred thompsons or lindsay grahams, certainly not from red states.
Yes. The Tea Party seems to be keeping a low profile at the moment so I hope that they get active again before 'candidate nomination/selection season.'

“I want to know when all of senator Obamas emails will be released to be combed over by the msm?”
The MSM reserves its investigative reporting resources exclusively for conservatives. Liberals are never questioned or held to any standards.
And you’re absolutely right about the “gutless spineless GOP”. They are practically invisible.
Hussein has always been about spending the taxpayers’ dime.
I forgot....didn't Kerry serve in Viet Nam of something. It used to be seared....SEARED into my mind, but I forgot.
Which is exactly why I post that the GOP can easily become our third party.
GOP: Doomed to failure due to RINO and PRIC disease.
GOP: Inability to rid itself of mentioned RINOs and PRICs.
.
“The Tea Party seems to be keeping a low profile at the moment so I hope that they get active again before ‘candidate nomination/selection season.’”
Unfortunately the Tea Party has splintered into many factions and seems to have given up on the types of major gatherings it once promoted such as the huge events held at the national capitol that make a big politcal statement. With the out-of-control and frightening budget situation, I too wish they would seize the moment to raise their profile.
“And where is the gutless spineless GOP calling him out on the War Powers Act”.......on the 7th tee.
