DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on Saturday warned of a creeping "new colonialism" in Africa from foreign investors and governments interested only in extracting natural resources to enrich themselves.
African leaders must ensure that foreign projects are sustainable and benefit all their citizens, not only elites, she said.

African leaders are the problem. If Hillary would speak English instead of “lawyerese” and diplomatic double-speak she would have said, “African leaders must stop robbing their people.”
But if she had she would have been “calling the kettle black”.
Many, many Africans have said that they exchanged white masters for black masters, the difference is that, for the most part, the white colonialist were competent.

She’s absolutely right. China is trying to purchase Africa on the cheap. Pretty soon African dictators will have Cuban-style advisors from China.
Does she not realize that the long term problem is the expansion of Islam?

In other words, all internal resistance to foreign investors must be cleared away before significant deals are made - namely by establishing an elite-led socialist democracy that first regulates or outright seizes all property rights.

Hey Hillary, why don’t you tell that to the Lt Governor if Idaho who is getting ready to sell 50 square miles of the good old USA to China so they can build a self contained community filled with their own imported Chinese workers. Basically just a little Chinese govt mini me in the middle of the Heartland. Oh and apparently there are about 257 of these little “self contained” Chinese communities planned all around the country. If that does not make your blood run cold nothing will.
