Did anyone consider that pickup truck sales are down because the economy is bad and Obozo’s policies are idiotic and buying a new one right now is not prudent? I am driving a 2000 Silverado with over 160K miles on it and won’t buy another one until I can see a change in the national politics.

And yet there is a waiting list to get a new Ford Explorer SUV. That is hardly a small car. I'd be willing to bet that the Ford F-150 is still the #1 selling vehicle of any kind sold in the USA.

I have a 2003 Ranger XLT with 160K on the clock and am looking at replacing it later this year and will probably go Toyota. I see nothing in GM or Dodge that impresses me and not a whole lot in Fordland.
