Well, not a pickup driver, but how the heck do you cart around . . . “stuff”? It won’t fit in a minivan-—either too long, too tall, too bulky. I mean, WTF?
The government should appoint a Pick-Up Truck Czar to determine who has a legitimate business need to be driving a truck and who is merely joy riding. There must be no joy in America.
Pickups are great, but I use either a Honda CR-V or a Suburu Outback to pull my 5x10, 3500# GVW utility trailer whenever I need to haul “stuff”.
The rest of the time I have a vehicle which is easy to park, good on gas and easier to climb into for us older folks.
BTW, the Honda is rated at 1500# towing, while in England it is rated at 1,500 KG!
When asked, “Why the difference?”, American Honda responded, “We have more lawyers!”
Our CR-V was assembled in UK.
Go figure.
