I defend other Christian groups that work to protect the unborn, traditional marriage, etc. The liberals are only mocking Mormons because they are against those values. They don't really care about the magical underpants. They hate Mormons because they want gay marriage and promiscuity.
They will find some other way to make fun of your religion and my religion because we are for common values that they despise.
