"Several protesters in zombie makeup injected themselves into a Special Olympics ceremony in Wisconsin this week when they walked in front of Gov. Scott Walker and stood between him and the group of athletes he was paying tribute to in front of the state Capitol," FoxNews.com reports.
The MacIver Institute has video of the episode, in which the zombies barge in front of the Special Olympians to block their view of the governor as he speaks. The explanation for the zombie garb is that "in their eyes they are 'dead' to Scott Walker."
There are conflicting reports as to who "they" are. MacIver describes them as "pro-union protesters," but Fox says their intrusion "appeared to be unrelated" to the governor's efforts on behalf of taxpayers victimized by government employee unions. Earlier the same day, "a statewide student organization" held an "educational event" featuring zombie makeup to protest a new voter ID law.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the outfit, which styles itself the United Council of University of Wisconsin Students, officially disavows the Special Olympics intrusion: "That doesn't make us look that good," said council spokesman Matt Guidry. But "some of the same demonstrators were involved" in both the Special Olympics incident and a "die-in" at the office of Robin Vos, a Republican state lawmaker:
Kit Beyer, Vos' spokeswoman, said the group came into the office around 12:30 p.m. After first gathering in the receiving area, the group then walked into Vos' personal office, Beyer said, locked arms and sat or laid down.
She said the group was asked to leave and refused.
There were 12 arrests, and Guidry proudly takes credit for organizing this act of disruptive lawlessness.

Of course zombies would be against a voter-ID law...it will make it harder for dead people to vote in future elections.
Worse than Westboro? No. Nearly as bad? Yes.
Disgusting people who take advantage of the most vulnerable for their own vice. I wish I was there, there would have been 13 arrests.
Several aspects of this demonstration have been missed:
1) Participating union workers could not have parodied themselves more accurately than they did. Nothing they could do portrays their mob-mentality and dead, destructive mindset better than the concept of zombie.
2) How did those union workers and the media fail to notice that the demonstration, far from agitating Gov. Walker, insulted the Olympians and their families?
This was an abomination.
Yeah, and zombies make up much of the Democrat's base.

Exactly, and they actually provide cover and diminish opposition to the homosexuals—this is one of their goal. The other goal of the Westboro group is to make Christians look like scum.
