People magazine loves Obama. In the top right corner of the June 20 issue is a picture of the president tenderly sitting with younger daughter Sasha on the White House lawn and the words “President Obama On Being a Good Father: Plus Exclusive Family Photos.” Inside are five pages of pictures of adoring daughters getting moments with Daddy...by Obama’s White House photographer Pete Souza. The newest one’s from last August. The White House pictorial also comes with an essay titled “Being the Father I Never Had, by Barack Obama.”

Only time I ever see a People magazine is when I am in a waiting room at the Doctor’s or Dentist’s office.
Wait a minute! I qualify as one of those “old folks” and I resent that remark. I love to read, but if Time is the only reading material available, I’ll have to pass.

So what - he is such a “great Pop’s” that he couldn’t stage a photo for People?
It is the little “bumps in the road” of the story presented to the American People which make him seem insincere.
As for having a tough upbringing - so what. Get over it. There are literally millions of people who have started low and pulled themselves up by their own bootstraps.
And then there are people who get channeled through a funnel to the top without the experience to support the position they are put in.
While my personal opinion is Mr. Obama belongs to the latter category, I surely hope he is “the father he never had” to daughters in a stressful situation.

We know nothing about how he really conducts his personal life. The photo ops look good, but no one really knows what goes on. Bill Clinton’s photos of he and the wife and kid looked good too—totally an actor. BO is an Academy award winning actor.
Is there any evidence that Obama spends time with his daughter when it’s not for a photo op?
Do you actually believe any of these stories about his childhood? I don’t believe anything about him. It’s all been fabricated and never proved.
Lol, in a waiting room right now and just read that. He’s almost as bad a father as his own. Love how he claims his mom never shirked her duties as the angelic single mom. Riiight. She was done with him at 10.
Wow that Sasha does not resemble him in even the smallest degree. Maybe they used a sperm donor since at the time he was busy giving his to Larry Sinclair and others. (sorry for those of you at lunch. )
You think he’s a decent family man? He was known even as an elected official in the Boystown bars and bathhouses of Chicago. Not home with the wife. Maybe bringing her some HIV home.
He is never seen with his kids on a normal non photo op day.
I agree he had a ghastly childhood, abandoned by both parents, handed to a pedophile. I feel for him there. But he had a choice to be decent as an adult and he hasnt gone that way.
Makes sense they love Zero, the magazine clearly is oriented toward the airheads in the shopping checkout line..........
