People magazine loves Obama. In the top right corner of the June 20 issue is a picture of the president tenderly sitting with younger daughter Sasha on the White House lawn and the words “President Obama On Being a Good Father: Plus Exclusive Family Photos.” Inside are five pages of pictures of adoring daughters getting moments with Daddy...by Obama’s White House photographer Pete Souza. The newest one’s from last August. The White House pictorial also comes with an essay titled “Being the Father I Never Had, by Barack Obama.”

Fixed it.

I imagine a “barf alert” would be redundant, considering the headline.

Did he mention that he’ll be golfing on Father’s Day. Sorry kiddos.

For his kids’ sake, I pray he’s a better father than he is a president.

What’s the actual circulation of People? Not very much, I think.

By all appearances he is an exemplary husband and father when compared to all other Democrat politicians. Not that this is setting the bar very high....

I detest his policies but have to give some respect for how he conducts his personal life.

What is it now...14 straight weekends of golf?

Prop time to keep the wolves at bay. Using his kids to do it is just pathetic and unpresidential.

His personal life looks much the same as Clinton's did only they aren't women. And what is he teaching his daughter's? Spend other people's money lavishly? That babies are a punishment? I can't agree with you.

I agree. As much as I don’t want Obama re-elected and think he’s destroying the country, he seems like he’s a decent family man who loves his wife and kids. And if you read the stories about him as a kid, its hard to not have sympathy for him—no father, beat up and taunted as a very young child for being half white. I’m not making excuses for his Socialism and destruction of the country, but he seems like a decent family man.

Actually, I see this as backfiring. If you think about all the African American men who abandoned their children, yet still voted for Obama: This actually shames them.

Just this weekend, he dumped the wife and kids at Camp David and took off to play golf. He could at the very least be seen golfing with his 11year old daughter, it would make him look like a better father.

“he seems like a decent family man.”

What are you smoking? He has been golfing 11 weekends in a row including Fathers Day. He does everything he can to get away from his family.

Last I knew this rag was published by Time, Inc. Explains a lot.

Us Magazine is even worse. It's owned by Jan Wenner, founder of Rolling Stone, and it ran an incredibly nasty hit job on Sara Palin when she first got chosen for McCain's VP candidate.
