Report: US Stopped North Korean Ship

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Navy forced a North Korean ship on its way to Myanmar to return home after a standoff two weeks ago, The New York Times reported Sunday. The Times said the U.S. suspected the North Korean cargo vessel, the M/V Light, was carrying missile technology to Myanmar.

Popgun-boat Diplomacy from the Regime of the least qualified guy in the room. I wonder if they interrupted one of Hussein's golf games to inform him, or if they just didn't bother...

I suppose we should not expect any better of this Regime, but to walk away from an opportunity to catch the NOKO's not only with both hands in the jar, and both filled with cookies, we also walked away from what was likely concrete proof for that "thin" evidence of a link with Burma (Myanmar).

I am positive that the on-scene Commander had all of the assets he needed to affect a proper boarding and it's too bad he was not allowed to do the job he was hired and trained to do.

Gutless foreign policy, and the Norks will no doubt be testing another nuclear warhead soon, and call it "retaliation" for this "event".
