She’s not Sarah.
Wait til the lefty media machine really gets cranked up and you will become hooked.
With her attack on Gov. Palin, and keeping on Rollins
her contendership plummeted.
Michelle Bachmann is the girl who has made it clear she wants to go to the prom with YOU, but your heart is holding out, waiting to see if you will be able to convince that OTHER GIRL to go.
I’m not enthused over her voting record, not that it’s horrible in comparison to some of the other candidates.
I think your problem is not Michelle Bachman. You’re like the person who’s out on a date with someone, then see’s another more attractive person in the restaurant that you’d much rather be with. You have wandering eyes. Those eyes are wandering towards Sarah or Rick Perry. Except that neither of those two are available.
Good Post. Im seeing a struggle within FR about Bachmann and Palin esp. Im like you, I dont feel the passion for Bachmann as I do Palin. I cant quite put my finger on it quite yet. Maybe Ive been so invested in Palin and Michelle coming in and “dissing” her has really pissed me off. Im looking forward to reading other opinions on this....
The old “You like her BUT....”
You are obviously a troll who only came here to...
OOOOps, this isn’t about Palin, sorry. We only do that to long time posters who dare to question Palin.-LOL
Glad to see Im not alone. I have the exact same feelings about Bachman. Just can’t get excited about her for President. I’m more excited about Palin but (AHHHAAA-there it is-—a BUT!!! Im obviously a troll!) I honestly don’t think she has what it takes to win the presidency.
Bachmann says the right things. She has the right positions. But she does not convince me that she can deliver on them. With no executive experience, no major legislative accomplishments, no real signs of leading anything... it's hard to see why I should consider her capable of the Presidency.
She also comes across -- to me -- as a rank opportunist. A back-bencher who is trying to translate her popularity with TEA party folks into somehow being their leader. I think other candidates (or potential candidates) such as Cain and Palin take a better approach in appealing to the TEA party but not presuming to speak for it. Now, granted, this is entirely subjective -- I'm quite sure that others do not believe the same, and they're entitled to their opinions. But so am I.
Gravitas? I love to hate that word but she just doesn’t seem to have the “weight” that some others do.
Bachmann is running for the VP slot. Has nothing to do with core conservative convictions.
She will treat Romney with kid gloves in the hope that he picks her as his running mate if he (God forbid) gets the GOP nomination.
That’s why I don’t trust her. Your experience may vary.
I know a whole lot more about Sarah Palin by thanks of the MSM trying to destroy her for the last couple of years, that alone gives her a better resume.
And its just like that, I see a resume from Michell and Sarah, and Sarah has a lot more dedication, perseverance, and commitment to duties.
And I hire people on an almost daily basis, some decisions come from what a person has fought and won. And or has survived, which is why I would hire a veteran first.
Maybe it’s the long odds House members face trying to get elected president. Who was the last member of the House of Representatives to get elected president? I think it was Garfield in 1880.
She’s a House Representative. Big deal.
Let her accomplish something. Then run for Pres.
Bachmann doesn’t impress me as a forceful leader.
I like Bachman too. However, the battle that has to be fought in the near future is going to be a vicious, bloody, mud-slinging battle and Michelle seems not to have that attack feature in her personality.
This is it! Our last chance to reclaim our country and it’s values and heritage. The candidate we choose has to be as hard as steel and totally uncompromising in their values along with an extremely aggressive mannerism. This is all out war!
Bachman is highly intelligent and focused on the pecuniary problems of our country but lacks the “junk yard attack dog” personality that will be required for the upcoming battle.
With that said, she would make a great Vice-President.
Congresscritters don't become nominees fwiw. They just don't (a lot have tried) and there's a reason for that.
