Yep, they are trying to create a "right" that need not exist.

Yes, I noticed finally.
Sorry, I’ve been watching Ronald Reagan telling jokes on YouTube because of a link that I got in my email this morning. I miss Ronnie a lot.

Re: your tagline - Government jobs
are worth less - they entail taxes. They are a drain on the economy rather than spurring economic growth.
Are you sure you're a Conservative? The only government jobs I support are those directly tied to an enumerated power of the Federal Government - like defense jobs.

I confess that I also prefer the original, but I found the newer rendition to be quite creative.

They created a ‘right’ to murder the unborn, and they are rapidly working on making a ‘right’ to murder those ‘no longer productive’ in society under the guise of ‘right to die’.
The secular humanists see rights where none exist, and they want to destroy those that do exist.

Hadn’t paid much attention to the user tags earlier, am now leaving this discussion, for obvious reasons. I post here a bit and don’t wanta annoy the site owner. The conversation’s been interesting, and, loboinok, wagglebee, love those CAPITAL LETTERS on IMPORTANT WORDS. If we meet again on another thread, I’ll know when you REALLY mean it, eh?

To: flowerplough
Oh, and government jobs are worth less.
About 80% of all fedgov jobs could be eliminated tomorrow for the benefit of all.
Even the fired gov workers. They could start doing something useful, like maybe growing vegetables.

am now leaving this discussion, for obvious reasons. You can run but everyone, including the site owner, now knows that you are not a conservative. So you can mock but I'd bet you now post on borrowed time.

His last remarks were rather snide, so I'm not thinking that he has truly accepted the stated goals and political realities of this site. Perhaps I'm wrong though.
Perhaps he's actually contrite but fearful that we'll regard him as having fallen into line too quickly.

Nothing contrite about his last post IMO - I'm amazed that he's still aboard.

They’re snide because they believe they got away with it. And they did. This time. The Boss is a very patient man and tries to give people a break. This posters snide bravado will be the breaking point eventually.

1. Its going to happen anyway.
2. The government should not be involved in this issue.
Concur.
And lets legalize more drugs, and not just alcohol, nicotine, and white sugar, for the same reasons.
****************************************************************************
Heeellllllloooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is anybody home? If the government legalizes all those things, then it IS involved in them. The government is involved with them by default that way and all that does is open the door for MORE government interference and regulation. Legalizing something will NOT stop that.

The slave trade was banned as illegal in the United States in 1808.
More of that danged government interference there for you.
We can’t have that being illegal, now can we? After all, the government has no business being involved with moral issues and has no right to tell someone that they cannot own another human being.
I mean, really,.....
Follow this liberal *logic* (for a complete lack of a better term) and this is where it will get you. Are there any libertarians who support slavery? Hmmmm? Where are those champions of non-government interference in people’s personal lives?
