I think a more fundamental question is: precisely who is this resolution designed to affect?

In other words, will Islamic countries now be subject to UN condemnation and sanction for routinely executing homosexuals? Or will the US be subject to the same.... for refusing to allow them to marry each other?

Good point. Most Americans would see this, and nobody wants to be a “bad person”, so they would meekly say, “Well, who wouldn’t want everyone to have equal rights?”
