Former pro football player David Tyree has dared come out publicly with his view that New York State should not grant same-sex marriage licenses.
For that view, disclosed in an interview with the "anti-gay group" the National Organization for Marriage, Tyree's "put his foot in his mouth" according to Yahoo! Sports blogger Doug Farrar (emphasis mine):
And with that voice, Tyree managed to put his foot in his mouth in the minds of many people, saying that two people of the same gender could not make a commitment to each other that involved the raising of children.
Asked in a recent interview with an anti-gay group called the National Organization for Marriage about a same-sex marriage bill that recently passed the New York state assembly and awaits approval from state senators, Tyree said that "this will be the beginning of our country's sliding towards, you know, it's a strong word, but 'anarchy.' The moment we have it, if you trace back even to other cultures, other countries, that will be the moment where our society and itself, loses its grip with what's right. Marriage is one of those things that is the backbone of society.

At one point I asked the NOM Facebook admins whether the group officially opposed homosexuality. They responded that the “moral aspects” were none of their business, and that they just wanted to oppose gay marriage.
Isn’t Tyree’s opinion the same as Obama’s announced position?
History points to and records the failures of former societys, those Nations who fell under the "politically correct" counsels of weak humans rather than adhering to natural values with integrity. As the former disintegrates, politically dragging a lesser society of all ages down with them rather than remaining strong, they remain contemptuous, politically loud and rude.
What will it take our nation to regain its moral compass?

If they need some legal union then lets have a constitutional debate for Gayarriage or whatever they want to call it but to demand the same status as Marriage demeans the term to those of us who still believe in the institution of a union between a man and a woman.
Anything else is simply a perversion to satisfy a 100% unnatural coupling with no valid biological function.
Just because they want to do something does not mean we have to accept it.
I say let them call it "Disparage" - and only other sodomites have to recognize it, not normal folks.
