A Romney/Bachman ticket will guarantee an Obama second term. Most concervatives will not vote for him, even if it is against the worse president in history. Concervatives view Romney as Obama lite. Romneycare, global warming, ethinol subsidies and he could probably be bought on abortion because he is famous for pandering and flip flopping.

… knows the conservatives and evangelicals won't except Romney. Haley's cornball charm isn't fix it.

Ignore all the pre-primary chatter and worries and let’s pull together and try and get us some real conservative candidates. We’ll worry about the general when the time comes for that.

Palin/Cain 2012!

If myth is the nominee, I write in a conservative.

I simply will not vote for romney, I ignored my better judgment and threw my vote away on mcloonatic on the outside hope Sarah Palin would be VP, and that ended up with mcloon throwing the election to the marxist messiah.

Never again.

The GOP is now pushing for Demint to jump in. My feeling is, their internal polls are showing something different then the bs polls they keep pushing on tv. They think they need a stronger conservative to ensure a Romney win. When Demint jumps in, Bachman goes under the bus. Demint or whoever will not change the outcome if Romney is at the top. Say hello to four more years of Obama and possibly losing the house agsin because the conservative base will not turn out to vote.

Well Haley I’ll vote for whoever the Repubs nominate out of the current field with the exception of Romney. Romney is running in the wrong party. Those who believe in socialized medicine and global warming belong to the progressives in the Democratic(Communist) Party. Romney will never ever get my vote.

I’ll be honest if Romney does win I’ll certainly look with a jaundiced eye at any who support him. If any Republican who I may vote for backs Romney they’ll lose me as well. Romney isn’t just a RINO he’s a full blown progressive. Sure he knows how to talk the talk but his actions tell me all I need to know.

… the GOP establishment …

… knows the conservatives and evangelicals won’t except Romney. Haley’s cornball charm isn’t fix it.

I suspect he knows that. Someone called him and leaned on him to keep the uppity base calmed down, and he has gone through the motions to try. Barbour is a party man, but no fool. He knows this appeal will make no difference. He just discharged an obligation to some party nomenklatura in D.C. or Texas.

Even Rush and Levin have urged the same thing, to vote for whatever the party eventually churns out. Most will. I won’t. I have voted against my conscience for the lesser evil in 5 of the past 6 cycles. Something snapped in the last one. I am not going to do it again.

Asked if Palin could raise the kind of money to be competitive, Barbour chuckled in agreement.

“She could raise enough money to burn a wet mule,” he said.

Sounds alot like what Mike Castle said as well as other GOP establishment candidates, until Tea Party candidates beat them in the primaries.

Then they changed their tune.

I liked this part at the end:

"Obviously the better known, or the more access to resources a candidate has, the later that candidate can wait. I think there is still plenty of time and I think there are likely to be other candidates."

Asked if Palin could raise the kind of money to be competitive, Barbour chuckled in agreement.

"She could raise enough money to burn a wet mule," he said.

Something snapped in the last one. I am not going to do it again.

Same here. McCain seemed hell bent to excuse Obama's faults, and to see the GOP already doing the same for Romney is too much for me to take.

"And don’t even talk to me about ‘a third party vote being a vote for Obama’. That’s BS. It’s a vote for the candidate of my choice."

Couldn't agree more. You can bet we'll hear a lot of that 'a third party vote is a vote for Obama' crap. It's only a vote for Obama if you pull the lever for Obama. I'd rather pound my nuts with a wooden mallet than vote for Obama or Romney. But any person who doesn't vote their conscience is a worthless human being as far as I'm concerned.

By not voting for Romney we are sending the Republicans, a clear message. Particularly if Romney were to lose and the GOP undercard wins. We're telling them we're sick of the Romneys, the McConnels, and the Boehners. I personally am sick of all these weak sisters. But I'll tell you at this point I'm not sure the establishment Republicans would even get the message or give sh*t if if they did.

Every time I hear a Republican politician exhorting Republicans to “unite behind the eventual winner”, I take it as code for, “Swallow hard, hold your nose, and vote for Mittens even though you can’t stomach him.” Well, that’s not going to happen.
