The Western powers wont like the guy who replaces him, and will come to perceive his reign as The Golden Years. In time, theyll come to see that this whole thing was a bad mistake. It's like 1979 all over again.

Most objective observers recognize that NATO is engaged in a totally illegal assault against a sovereign state. There is no legitimacy, since the "no fly zone" lie has been long discarded, even by the eurotrash. This is naked aggression against a government, granted an autocratic government, but no worse than ten of its neighbors.
NATO may actually accomplish the feat of making Quaddafi into the underdog. Personally I hope he outlasts the illegitimate euros.

That is an aggressive action, not a defensive or protective action. (oh but shhhh, this is not a war btw)
