How did he put American’s at a disadvantage? Since you’re calling for death, please show what harm he is accountable for.
Please also name the others jailed for espionage who you want sentenced to death...and then take that cause up somewhere else.

Are you serious that you don’t know how espionage against the United States by a member of our military is harmful to us? You really don’t see any harm in that? Seriously? You JUST don't get it - so I suspect that you have NEVER held a TS/SCI clearance. There are things that you see and hear that properly should never see the light of day [as long as they are legal].
It is the bargain you make - you PROMISE NOT to disclose information to unauthorized personnel in exchange for the postion that the government entrusts you with ...
As far as death is concerned - Pollard COULD have faced the death penalty. The government CERTAINLY could have charged him with espionage - but it gave him the GIFT of a plea deal [the government had enough evidence to make the case].
I have NO DOUBT that this deal was GREATLY influenced by the Israeli government. BUT, the fact that Pollard WAS NOT charged with espionage DOEs NOT mean he didn't do it. The decision was made by the proper authorities and I must abide by its decision. Just as YOU must abide by the judge's sentence ...
He's gonna get out in four years, and then go to Israel, I'm sure. Quit your snivelling and whining about this.
