Pointing to double-digit unemployment rates among African Americans and Hispanics, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R.-Minn.) said on Friday that President Barack Obama “has failed” both these communities.

“This president has failed the Hispanic community. He has failed the African-American community,” said Bachmann. “He has failed us all when it comes to jobs.”

Bachmann, who is seeking the Republican presidential nomination for 2012, made the remarks at the “Republican Leadership Conference” held in New Orleans over the weekend. Other Republican presidential contenders—including Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul and Herman Cain—also spoke at the event, as did Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who is reportedly considering a run for president.

Bachmann’s speech focused in part on what she described as Obama’s failure to promote economic growth and job creation—resulting in an overall national unemployment rate of 9.1 percent in May, a full 28 months into Obama’s term.

“Mr. President, the status quo is not working for Americans,” said Bachmann. “The status quo certainly isn't working for the African-American community, with 16 percent unemployment, or the Hispanic community, with nearly 12 percent unemployment. It's even worse for the youth: For Hispanic youth right now, 26 percent unemployment; for African-American youth, 40 percent unemployment.

‘Twould indeed be shorter and more efficient to list the things in which the Obamaloon was not a failure.

That list can be summarized by two words: Null Set.

Bachmann only coopted the Tea Party movement on the orders of Karl Rove who plucked her from the backbenches of the Minnesota state legislature and funded her campaign for the House in 06 and personally campaigned for her.

She supports ethanol subsidies and has recieved with her family over 250k in farm subsidies through a family trust for a farm they own.

Michele Bachmann wrote several letters to Bush adm in 2007 advocating a presidential pardon for Frank Vennes who was a large donor to her , Norm Coleman and Tim Pawlenty. Vennes pleaded guilty and no contest to federal charges of money laundering, cocaine and firearms trafficking in 1987.

Bachmann , who used to be a liberal , organized for Jimmy Carter in 76. Now she has Ed "walking around money" Rollins managing her campaign. Rove and the Bush people are working behind the scenes to nominate Romney and made a deal with Bachmann to split the Tea Party vote for the VP spot. That is why Bachmann won't critisize Romney on Romneycare.

Bachmann has no experience as a mayor or governor and has no business experience. Furthermore , she has no legislative success to show for. Bachmann is an emty suit who says the right things for her base , much like Obama in 07.

After umteen re-posts, the boldly redundant fantasy is getting a bit stale.

Maybe try all bold AND ALL CAPS for a while.

Sometimes her wording feels a little clunky to me but she says a lot of things that need to be said and that no one else will say.

President Trainwreck has also failed the Asian and Caucasian American communities. He has failed the millions of "Millionaires and Billionaires". He is an equal opportunity failure.

He has, to his credit, been a good golfer and knows the game of basketball inside out.

Thank you MB for “speaking truth to power.” Credit where due and you deserve it for putting this out there.

Now about the RINO attack dog. Can we please get a word from you on that? Appreciate the above, but this cloud will hang over your head until you give the base some answers. Ignoring the Ed-RINO in the room will NOT it, or us, go away.

“Somebody needed to say it.”

I wish our side wouldn’t stoop to pandering to all the ethnic and interest groups that is balkanizing our country.

When we do so we just trap ourselves in the left’s narrative. It opens ourselves up to the obvious comeback question: “What are you going to do for the blacks?” Or the hispanics? Or the gays?

He has failed all the citizens of this country, he has failed the country and its values! We need to market our world view and not adopt theirs, or we’ll never win.
