On it’s worst day, California is a shining star compared with the dump state you probably live in. Enough of these snide comments about turning the state over to Mexico. There are still millions of us who live here who care about what’s happened here. We don’t need your infantile comments So FO!

I understand the frustration of seeing so-called “conservatives” persistently trashing CA and by extension, those of us who reside here.

There were many of us some years back who tried to push back at these a holes, but we were overwhelmed by the sheer enormity of so-called “conservatives” who had nothing but vitriol and snide remarks in response.

As you may have already noted, many “hide” their state by not flying their flag on their page. Says all I need to know.

However, leave the children to their petty and infantile insults if it makes them feel any better.

I figured that it was like arguing with an idiot, they just drag you down to their level and then no one can tell the difference.

Take the better road vette...

Thank you, brother...I felt better just reading your post. It gets tiresome reminding these people California elected Ronald Reagan.

I’d love to agree with you, but can’t. CA isn’t anything so nice as it was when I was young (and I mean young adult, not a kid, when it was even better). I lived there 50 years, fought every two years in every political campaign there was, helped pass Props 174, 187 and 209, watched judges eviscerate them and the politicos destroy commerce and industry. So, I gave up and moved out.

I now live in North Carolina, which for a short while looked like wanting to be CA east. Then a whole bunch of conservatives arrived. Now, the Republican Party runs the state and it’s only a matter of time until a Republican sits in the governor’s chair. It can be done, but strong conservatives need to be there and be active. That’s what’s missing now in CA: you may be the exception and for that I laud you, but there are now too few of you. You can suffer the slings and arrows of endless Democratic idiocy or you can cut your losses and get out. I recommend the latter. It’s what I did and I am not looking back.
