The Wisconsin State Assembly is scheduled to debate (and hopefully pass) SB93, the concealed carry bill, which has already passed the Wisconsin State Senate.
Amendment tabled.
What’s NOT being debated here is whether or not to pass a concealed carry law.
What’s being debated is what KIND of concealed carry law to pass.
Amendment stating certain parks/ events do NOT need to post signs to exclude ccw.
Stupid amendment, if you ask me.
Presented by a D, as usual.
D talking about being courteous to each other.
“We have got to start treating each other better.”
This from the side of the aisle that fled to another state.
Pasch (D): “We all know that concealed carry will be law soon; it will pass the Assembly this day.”
No mention of all the procedural dirty tricks and vote-changing bribes Dems have pulled over the years in order to keep this legislation from passing.
We've waited long enough. Go take your personal statement and shove it.
bang!
let’s make any violation a felony...
Same old stuff. Miss seeing a sign, go to jail for a few years.
“The amendment is laid on the table.”
Dominoes falling.
Kessler (D) says “I’ve sentenced many people and felt it wasn’t the appropriate time to increase penalties for illegal concealed carry.”
Gaaaahh! There’s that phrase: “common-sense safety.”
“48 states already have it. Well, maybe we were saner, and smarter, than 48 other states.”
“The sky is falling.”
Amendment tabled.
We have got to start treating each other better.
Bite me, commie asswipe!
Notice how “thivility” is all of a sudden crucial, now that they’re on receiving end of treatment 1% as bad as they mete out when they’re in the majority. And the MSM cheers them right on, “They won”, “They have a mandate” (why the hell would we want to hear about Barney’s social life?), etc.
They just tabled another D amendment.
Knocking them down like bowling pins.
The people are about to be handed back a bit of liberty and right to self-protection.
It’s a nice day in Wisconsin.
Now up: The “Block Party” amendment.
Let’s keep it illegal for law-abiding citizens to defend themselves at block parties, holiday festivals, concerts on the square.
Horrified D: “At open-air events, you’re going to allow GUNS. Now do I want to be at any of these events, knowing anybody could have a gun? I don’t think so.”
Presumption: Anybody who has a firearm is looking to shoot her sorry self.
Just pulled the “it’s for the children” card.
68 - 29, the Block Party amendment bites the dust.
Amendment 2 also tabled, 69 to 28.
Slapdown.
