I don't have much interest in Bristol other than her potential effect on the White House in seventeen months (and cheering for her to get her life together sooner rather than later). Fortunately, I see no indication in her writing or in the polling that her words will matter for the election. The hateful far left will see her as another reason to despise Governor Palin, while conservatives will recognize that they are voting for Sarah Palin and not Bristol Palin. In other words, this book has no political significance. I hope she learns from her mistakes, as most conservative adults have done.

True as far as it goes but this omits the majority of the country. The far hateful left is one portion, the Palin fans are another portion. But most people fall in between. And there isn’t much in the soap opera that will draw them towards Sarah.
