Jeb Bush: No run in 2012, but I don't rule out 2016 (RINOs want a third Bush) (BARF ALERT)

It is a truism of political dynasties that there is a chosen heir - the one who should or would or could have been next. It is certainly apt of the Bush family.

Jeb Bush is the son who was groomed for the presidency.

He was the one most Republicans expected to succeed his father into the Oval Office.

And today, looking at their, let's be frank, lacklustre field, many Republicans still wish he would do just that.

"It's very flattering to be asked that regularly," Jeb tells me in his office at the Coral Gables Biltmore Hotel.

"I don't wake up each morning saying, 'Oh, wow, it's me. I think I'm the cat's meow. I'm the best'," he adds.

"There are great candidates running and my guess is that one of them will be president, and I'll be supportive."

What Jeb doesn't say is that the current Republican field would look very different if he were to run.

Your two options:

1.) Complaint Department

2.) Pound sand.

RINO has got to be one of the most bastardized terms of all time.

Actually I'm considering three 'candidates' top of the list at the moment. Only one has actually announced yet - hoping the other two will.

Have since day 1 (actually day -5 or so) supported Palin, and voted for her last time around.

Perry is increasingly impressive. So far, so good.

Huntsman is unknown, but intriguing. Perhaps even uniquely important for our future as a nation. Imagine a business-savvy conservative western red state based president who ACTUALLY understands the nation currently eating our lunch internationally - even speaks Mandarin. I still can't tell if he's a potential part of (yet more) of the problem or perhaps a vastly critical part of our overdue solution in making, but until I figure that out he's on my list too.

Oh I provided this for you Romney fans' viewing entertainment:

Romney:

:D

By an odd coincidence, I have a new pic for all the MittBots, as well. ;)

I’m a pragmatist. I’ll contribute time and money to get my most-favored candidates to the nomination. But if I don’t get my way at the Republican convention, I will back whoever that party puts on the ticket. We must remove Obama from office. Period. And if it’s not an ideologically pure conservative who does it, I will still be thankful.

I've been pragmatic in past elections. George Bush's Prescription Drug Benefit, TARP, The Freddie-Fannie Bailout and his attempt at Amnesty are all examples of the major problems we get when we nominate and elect RINOs.

Will I vote for another RINO in the general election if the Republicans nominate another RINO?

I see no reason to say that I will at this point in time.

Primary season is coming up. Let's nominate Constitutionalists.

Huntsman interest? You have to be kidding. And you think I’m a RINO? Huntsman is going to go to the Left of Romney.

That’s an incredible swing from Palin to Huntsman, but it’s early. We are all about to learn a lot over the next 18 long months.

“Hard to believe how much BDS there is even on FreeRepublic.”

What? Twice was enough for most of us. Good grief. How many times do we have to be sucker punched to FINALLY get the message.

No more Bushes! I’m sick of them. Elitist, privileged, bunch of globalist who think they’re entitled. I keep getting the image in my mind of seeing H.W. and old Barbara on television slamming Gov. Palin and trying to shove Mitt Romney down our throats. We’re not listening to you anymore Bushes. Go off and enjoy your millions. I don’t really care where you go, but just go!

And that's why their tools are out in force against Sarah Palin.

Yup. And the falling-down hysterical part is, they genuinely seem to believe they're being fiendishly subtle about it, too. ;)

Bush I gaves us 8 years of Clinton. Bush II gave us 4 years of Obama. We won't survive Bush III.

Keep out da Bushes.

Getting rid of these wealthy ruling class elite and their family dynasties are becoming very troublesome.

It's a problem all across the country at various levels.

The L.A. area has a congressional special election coming up (mail ballots already out) and the Democrat, Janice Hahn, is herself an L.A. city councilwoman but also daughter of an L.A. supervisor (40 yrs!), the sister of the former D.A./mayor of L.A. and niece of another assemblyman/councilman.

Craig Huey (R) knocked off the Dem Sec of State for the second slot in the general (open primaries here now) but it'll be hard to overcome the inertia of the Hahn dynasty.

Sounds like Jebbie thinks no Republican can beat Obomba.

Nothing like admitting defeat even before the battle begins.
