Only problem is the accusations here are a total lies with no base in fact.

For example, Bachmann, whoes FATHER IN LAW owns a farm, has nothing to do with that farm. Bachmann has consistently voted against Farm Subsides while in Congress.

So rather then then calling he a hypocrite, the Junk Media should apologies for lying about her.

Better check your sources closer in the future, just because someone in the Leftist clown posse writes something, doesn't make it true

Care to address Bachmann's comment?

She wrote, “Your efforts to stabilize prices through direct government purchasing of pork and dairy products are very much welcomed.”

If this is a lie, a manufactured quote, then shame on Huff Post. If it is not, shame on Bachmann AFAIC.

did she or did she not write that letter?

Are these her words or are they making it up?

On Oct. 5, 2009, Bachmann wrote Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack praising him for injecting money into the pork industry through the form of direct government purchases. She went on to request additional assistance.

“Your efforts to stabilize prices through direct government purchasing of pork and dairy products are very much welcomed by the producers in Minnesota, and I would encourage you to take any additional steps necessary to prevent further deterioration of these critical industries, such as making additional commodity purchases and working to expand trade outlets for these and other agricultural goods,” Bachmann wrote.

Not enough degrees of separation. Daughter and FIL are close enough to create a conflict of interest. It would have been the proper thing for her to vote against (or abstain) if that is in fact what she has done.

*************************

From Wikipedia:

Bachmann and her husband own a Christian counseling practice in Stillwater.[23][24] Bachmann also has an ownership stake in a family farm located in Waumandee, Wisconsin. Since the death of her father-in-law in 2009, the farm and its buildings have been rented out to a neighboring farmer who maintains a dairy herd on the farm.
