After the Packers / Bills game, Buffalo had to hire a replacement for released quarterback Trent Edwards.
During the Packers / Eagles game, the Packers injured Philadelphia quarterback Kevin Kolb. Philadelphia then had to play backup quarterback Michael Vick.
During a playoff game against the Eagles, the Packers injured Michael Vick and another backup was then hired.
After the Packers / Cowboys game, Dallas hired a replacement for fired Wade Phillips.
After the Packers / Vikings game, Minnesota fired Brad Childress.
Four weeks after losing to the Packers, the 49er's coach Mike Singletary was fired and replaced.
During the Bears Playoff game, the Packers injured Jay Cutler and backup Todd Collins forcing the Bears to go with 3rd string quarterback Caleb Hanie and look to hire more replacements.
They also created the vacancies, so a net gain of zero................
Wait’ll this season! Rodgers for “Job Czar”!
And the best thing was that they weren’t government jobs.
They work an equal number of days.
You are correct......but they were UNION jobs.
You are right - the Packers ARE the solution to America’s problems.
The packers are owned by their fans. Local control. They buck the system of the billionaire elites who run the cartel known as the NFL, just like Wall Street runs a cartel in cooperation with the FED / US Gov’t. The Packers play on frozen turf in December, so they are not sissies - real Americans!
I think you are on to something here!
>The packers are owned by their fans. Local control. They buck the system of the billionaire elites who run the cartel known as the NFL, just like Wall Street runs a cartel in cooperation with the FED / US Govt.<
Sounds liberal to me, like it’s owned by a mob a la union.
Is it too late to add Øbama to their schedule?
I don't live in Green Bay, but as far as I know, their fans like the arrangement. I would like to hear otherwise. In my town, the NFL team had a stadium built for them by taxpayers, with constant demand by the owners for upgrades. Corporate welfare at its worst.
Well then, owning shares of stock in a corporation is being owned by a mob. Because that's who owns the Packers, their shareholders.
You obviously have years of experience as a government economist.
Just kidding.
