I remember some years back, Art Buchwald took Paramount Pictures to court, making a claim against earnings from the movie Coming to America. Paramount fought him with everything they had, and lost. At that point they claimed the movie, which they had already boasted had grossed in excess of $280 million, had made no net profit.

They eventually settled with Buchwald for "an undisclosed amount." Buchwald was, by that time, on his death bed.
