Straight talk from Sgt. Maj. of the Marine Corps: “How dare we, then, exclude a group of people who want to do the same thing you do right now, something that is honorable and noble?”

“Get over it,” he said. “We’re magnificent, we’re going to continue to be. Let’s just move on, treat everybody with firmness, fairness, dignity, compassion and respect. Let’s be Marines.”

bit.ly The Command Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps addressed a group of Marines at a base in South Korea several key topics, including the repeal of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy...

with a man doing the same I might get nauseous and puke on the spot

That's a little dainty. I'd just laugh at a sexual advance from another woman.

Anyway, we agree that open homosexuality in the military is an idiotic idea, and that's the real point.

This “Marine,” if indeed he is a Marine, is a coward and a degenerate. He can go join the perverts in the Taliban.

Is there a real issue here?
1) Do we think that gay men (and women) really want to serve in the military?
2) If some one really wants to serve their country by perfroming military service shouldn’t we welcome them?
3) The real issue is can unit conhesion be maintained with gay people in a unit?
4) From 1941 to about 1973 there was a draft. I’m sure there were gay men serving. Did that hurt unit cohesion?

I’d bet all the money I own that this guy was ordered to give this speech in just the way he gave it.

Your daughter may have a point once they co co-ed and the women and men use the same restrooms and shower together. Until then she is way off.

I just got back from a week and Camp Upshur on Quantico. We were in open bay sleeping quarters, open bay showers, and even open bay crapper! But the women had their own for all those things. Put the women with the men then it’s all good.

During the draft being gay was outlawed in the military, there was no "don't ask don't tell" BS. The few that made it through the pre-draft screening, in other words the ones that lied about being gay, kept their secret to themselves and had a low profile. There was no grouping, kissing or fondling of other soldiers, at least not in the open.

Now there will be all those things and the gays will be obnoxious and irritating, just the way most of them are in civilian life.

There will be discipline problems of a magnitude unheard of today.

In my younger days I was approached often with unwanted advances from men (I’m a “she”) and I knew how to deal with such advances, or learned how, after a while.

I was also “hit on” by two lesbians. The (HIGHLY) unwanted advances by the homosexuals were infinitely more disturbing than the opposite sex advances, no matter how crude or even aggressive the men might have sometimes been.

Neither of the homosexuals who made advances touched me or in any way were aggressively trying to, but the nausea and repulsion factor was extremely high, and very disturbing emotionally. And not because (as not either of you would think obviously!) I was “secretly attracted” but the only thing that comes to mind would be if someone offered me a s*** sandwich, the repulsion and emotionally strong reaction might be similar.

It’s normal and natural for men to be attracted to women and women to be attracted to men, even though some humans act like “animals” and make (very) unwanted advances, it’s still within the realm of Mother Nature. But the same advances made by a homosexual are in a whole ‘nother realm, and I can personally attest to this.

When these events happened I was (IIRC) 17 and 19 and had not formulated my current moral values, but the repulsion and fear were inherent in my very being, and indeed, helped in a small way, to shape my values.

Yeah, the issue is that Obama has faggotized the damned armed forces. The Marine Corps, The Air Force, etc., no longer exist as they did. They now WELCOME degeneracy and perversion. I have no respect for anyone who has joined up from this year forward. And this cowardly, scumbag Marine can go straight to hell where he belongs.

FR does not support sex perverts in the military or any other digusting slimey facet of the homosexual agenda.

They aren’t “gay” which means “happy and carefree”. They are mentally ill people with sick sexual fetishes and their habits and acts cause disease. Homosexuals should seek help, much is available, they are not “born that way”, they can change and many have.

They certainly do not belong in the military any more than pedophiles (many pedophiles are homosexuals too), bestiality afficiandos, kleptomaniacs or anyone else with grave character and behavior flaws.

What the military needs more than ever is principled warriors. The fags in the military will not last. It will be over. Without a strong and principles military, our country is finished.

This perversion will not last too long. IMO. If it does, we’re finished as a Republic.

Q: Whats the difference between an ass kisser and a brown noser?

A: Depth perception

The Sargent Major has a major problem.

Gayness is a “Behavior” not a race ,creed, or color.

He is no better than Weasley Clark.

If you had read his initial comment....

He was brilliant. He said he would obey CIC orders, HOWEVER...the Marines would continue with their discipline, etc.

It was his way of saying, bring them on,m we will deal with them the way we always have...leaves the Marines to do “what they always have.”

Luckly, the military is self correcting. If you can be counted on and trusted, your squad mates will look after you as you look after them. You chance of survival just got better. If you cannot be counted on or trusted, no one will look after you, and your chances of survival just got much worse. And this happens regardless of race, creed, gender, or sexual orientation, at least in my opinion.

John Kerry found this out the hard way - luckily for us.
