I remember when they were renamed Corn Pops from Sugar Pops. But I don’t remember Sugar Pops Pete.
I also vaguely remember a mascot named “Sugar Bear” but I don’t think he belonged to Corn Pops.
Politically incorrect? How about Candy Cigarettes?
The last time I saw those was the late 1980s-early 1990s. Ah, those were the days.
Sugar Bear was on Post Sugar Pops. He sounded like Bing Crosby (you probably don’t know who he is, though - too young!)
Remember the chocolate cigarettes? Or the bubble gum cigars? You could blow on the candy cigarettes wrapped in paper and fine sugar would blow off to resemble smoke! The libs would be tearing their hair out if they had them today!
