Fire-gate, the cover up of who started the Arizona wildfires. Smugglers have exploited environmental restrictions along the border for decades. Arizonans pay the price after smugglers set several wildfires that have burned homes and cost millions of dollars. All of the images in this video were taken after the forest was closed to the public. Smugglers and Illegal Aliens were among the only people in the wilderness. The Department of Homeland Security has failed to provide security for the people of Arizona and beyond.
Ping!
Used to be you would wander freely in the wilderness and never give safety a thought. Now, I would never wander unarmed or wilderness camp in a tent.
Illegals, and drug smugglers were our first thought when these fires started.
Some of these may be started by cooking fires, others intentionally, but no sane Western outdoors person would think of lighting a fire in these dry conditions.
See that fire? See that wind? Even with no wind, most people have no idea how fast a grass fire travels.
There was no date/time stamp on the video so there can be no correlation between when the illegals walked through and when the fire roared through. A date/time stamp would have helped to make the case.
“A date/time stamp would have helped to make the case.”
Exactly. I have little doubt illegals have and will continue to set fires there but this does not prove anything.
However I believe the High Sheriff of Comanche county Az when he says illegal are always setting fires
Footage timeline:
*Tuesday May 31, 2011 - a group of dope smugglers and a group of illegal aliens pass by the camera
*Monday June 6, 2011 - Fire sweeps the area
*Thursday June 9, 2011 - a group of illegal aliens pass by the camera after the burn-out
Firefighters battling the Murphy Complex fire in southern Arizona offered this update, as of Saturday morning, June 11:
Fire Name: Murphy Complex (Includes the Murphy Fire and Pajarita Fire)
Time/Date Started: 3:28 pm, May 30, 2011 I found this reference here: http://americanpatrol.com/ABP/NEWS/110623-FireBackground.html
This is the only reference I found.
Here in San Diego County we know it's routine for smugglers and illegals to either set fires on purpose, as distractions, or to insufficiently douse their abandoned camp fires. Otay Mountain burns often as a result of illegal's activity.
I'm more concerned for those on the fire line.
