Are you similarly concerned with inoculations for measles or pertussis, or is there something about this vaccine that irks you so?

I am not aware that he had any personal business interest in Merck. Does he own Merck stock, or something? He would have to own a WHOLE lot of it to profit personally from that, if it had gone forward.

Campaign contributions, especially at that level of $6,000, in a statewide race in a state the size of Texas where tens of millions are dropped honestly doesn’t worry me. Contributions are all publicly disclosed, and that amount of really de minimis.

Now if the campaign contribution were like $600,000, or if Perry owns 100,000 shares of Merck stock, then that would also be newsworthy. But I have never heard that.

(Which is not to say that it was a good idea...Perry is NOT a deep conservative. What he is is a pretty good politician, who has a few conservative instincts, and who lets those around him sort of dictate his values. He’s no Reagan. But he does show show spine WHEN he decides to take up a cause. I give him high marks in that regard. He is not a quitter, and can be pretty tough. But he as you note, brings some baggage and is not a deep conservative....he might well be the [if Palin doesn’t run] the most conservative alternative to Romney that there is. In that regard, we have failed as a movement, but that’s where we are. Finally, all that said, I do not believe that Perry is corrupt, and I do not believe that he is business partners with Giuliani, though they are clearly political allies, which is perfectly legal)

and that the worlds most infulential and powerfull people invited you to a meeting... you telling me you wouldn’t go?

I sure the hell wouldn't go if it was the Bilderbergers.

What did Perry have to gain by going there? (As opposed to what he had to lose by allowing himself to be associated with a shadowy organization that most Patriots detest.)

For those of you who think the Elites get together once a year to play Pinochle, consider this:

Bill Clinton - Head of State - USA Attends Bilderberg meeting, Germany, 1991 - gets Presidential Nomination Aug 1992.

Tony Blair - effective Head of State - UK Attends Bilderberg meeting, Greece, 1993 - becomes party leader Jul 1994 - becomes Prime Minister May 1997.

Jack Santer - previous Head of State (sacked for corruption) - Europe Attends Bilderberg, Germany, 1991 - becomes European President Jan 1995.

Romano Prodi - present Head of State - Europe On Bilderberg Steering Committee mid 1980’s, attends Bilderberg meeting, Portugal, Jun 1999 - sworn in as President of Europe Sep 1999 (term lasts until Jan 2005).

George Robertson - CEO - NATO Attends Bilderberg meeting, Scotland, 1998 - sworn in as Secretary General of NATO Aug 1999.

Lionel Jospin, participated in Bilderberg 1996. He became Prime Minister of France in 1997 (until 2002).

And Rick Perry attends Bilderberg 2007... lol

File an affidavit to opt out? Why the barrier. Why not just tell the school no?

My Texas moonbat relatives despise Perry, which is enough of a recommendation as far as I’m concerned!

Heh.

Yeah, the GOP primary is going to be interesting.

If Perry runs, as seems likely, and Palin does or doesn’t (either way is going to be interesting around here because SO MANY are so COMPLETELY CONFIDENT one way or the other), it is going to be...interesting.

I would predict, though, that if Perry runs and Palin doesn’t, I think Perry will actually beat Romney.

I do think it would be entertaining to watch Giuliani smash Biden in a debate.....

LOL, that would be so much fun to watch.

A very good look at...

Rick Perry's Gardasil Problem

Now. This is not a deal breaker for me. I was 100% against Perry's plan. But it failed. We move on.

There is no doubt that was one big screw up on Perry’s part.

OK, why don't you tell us what the occasion was in your multi-posted photo? Then again you probably don't have a clue on the details of this “meeting on the tarmac”.

Actually that picture is somewhat misleading. Perry wasn’t giving The One a big ole Texas welcome.

Perry was denied a meeting with The One regarding border security. Perry met him on the tarmac to give him a letter, personally, regarding the same.

The One quickly passed him to a lower level official behind him. Refusing the letter and snubbing Perry.

Perry has been poking at The One ever since.

IT DOES look like Perry is running. Who knew?

Is Perry running away from Al Gore? Who knows?

lololol

I did a google search. No results found for “adios mofobama”.

Quick. You need to register adios mofobama.com. Start printing bumper stickers and signs.

That could be THE catchphrase of the 2012 election season!

Everywhere Perry goes - there will be adios mofobama signs.

I love it!
