Teen scalding suspect's boyfriend on life support (Facebook story]

A northwest Houston man was clinging to life at the hospital Thursday, almost a week after authorities said his teenage girlfriend scalded him with boiling water.

Keira Jones, 17, was charged with aggravated assault after the June 18 attack on Ira Jones, 33, inside the home they shared in the 1000 block of E. 32nd Street.

According to the criminal complaint filed against her, the teen became angry because Ira Jones had been talking to another woman. She then threw a pot of boiling water at him..

On what appears to be her Facebook page, Keira Jones traces the relationship with her much-older boyfriend.

On April 23, she posted being at home with her "husband," whom she identified as Ira Jones, Jr.

She continues along that vein for several days on Facebook, saying "He brings so much joy to me."

Her Facebook postings become darker within a few days. On May 2, Keira Jones wrote that she was "letting (him) go" and "can do better" without him.

In later expletive-filled Facebook postings, Keira Jones condemned people who "claim they love you but when you need them they (are) never there."

On June 19, the day after police said Keira Jones threw the boiling water, her Facebook status suddenly changed to "single."

On the day Harris County prosecutors filed the aggravated assault charge against her, Keira Jones posted her latest comment on Facebook.

"You shouldn't have hurt me the way you did and (you) wouldn't have (gotten) the reaction I gave you," she wrote.

Keira Jones is being held without bail at the Harris County Jail.

I'm thinking, with all the idiots out there that consider a Facebook confession to be the highest form of self-praise...maybe Facebook should add "incarcerated" as a status.

I see so many tattooed females at the mall and at the gym. What are these gals going to do when the fad fades away? I understand that laser tattoo removal is pretty expensive. That said, if there had been a tattoo shop just off the main gate at Clark Air Base, I’d probably be sporting a 50-year old faded blue Cobra (our squadron logo).

I never had a desire to have a tattoo.

Seeing beautiful women desecrate their bodies with these things sickens me.

In my college days, I want to a tattoo parlor more than once but never could come to a decision on which tattoo I wanted to be scarred with the rest of my life. Thank God! Because since then I have decided that there really is nothing less attractive than a tattoo on a female. Jmho, I’m sure many disagree, and I have a lot of female friends who have them. I’m just so grateful that I don’t. So glad I heard my Dad’s voice in the back of my head saying, “I don’t care what all your friends are doing. If your friends all decided to jump of a cliff, does that mean you have to follow them?”

You are so right. Same goes for hadrware-body art. I have yet to hear anyone say, “My what a lovely girl...if only she had more tattoos. And piercings...”

There is no such thing as an ugly woman, only ugly personalities.

LOL

I agree with you and had many opportunities to do it but just never did. I just couldn’t see living with the same thign day after day.Now I”m really glad I didn’t because tattoos do not age well. All of those cute little dolpins on the ladies chests someday will turn into snakes.... :(

My niece is a rather tall, very attractive 37-year old woman. She has a small tattoo, not much bigger than a half-dollar, a shamrock. It’s on the inside of her left ankle and if you didn’t know it was there, you’d never notice it. A friend of mine married a woman who has an 8” scorpion tat on her right shoulder blade. What was she thinking?
