In an interview with CNN, First Lady Michelle Obama thanks the media for their "support" and "kindness."
CNN reporter: "How's the family ready for this [the election]? It's going to be quite vicious, isn't it? How do you prepare for that?"
First Lady Michelle Obama: "You know, it's … we're ready, you know. Our children, you know, could care less about what we're doing. We work hard to do that. Fortunately we have help from the media. I have to say this: I'm very grateful for the support and kindness that we've gotten. People have respected their privacy and in that way, I think, you know, no matter what people may feel about my husband's policies or what have you, they care about children and that's been good to see."

Could NOT care less, she probably meant. But she sure got the media part right.
It sounds as if she is saying the media have left the children alone, which is what they normally do with presidents’ children.
Except when they make jokes about Alex Rodriguez knocking up your youngest daughter. Oh. Wait. They did that did Sarah Palin's daughter Willow. Your kids are off limits. Carry on.
I think she’s referring to media’s treatment of her kids.
But it certainly tells a lot about the “help” she expects in this election.
The media certainly does not respect Palin’s kid’s privacy.

The media don't ask you the tough questions about WHY you are wasting taxpayer funds on trip after trip? Of course, you are a Leftist.
The media don't ask your husband the tough questions about why his policies are failures and why he can't seem to get his skinny ass off the golf course and go back to work? Of course not, that would be "racist".
