I got mail from NY 10101, too. I sent him a nice letter telling him that God loves him too much to let him stay the same.
Said something about Jesus didn’t have anything to say about gays in the Bible but to look at the woman caught in adultery. Jesus told her to go and sin no more. Same sexual purity is required of a gay or lesbian.
I also told him about 2 Corinthians 5:17. Hope that will help and change his mind. That is not all I said to him. We have to stand up and tell the people what is right from wrong.

You may consider yourself a “gay Christian” but God considers homosexual behavior to be an abomination and Paul warns that such behavior will lead you to hell. If you are a Christian, then you would repent of your sin and turn to God for forgiveness. If you do not believe that your behavior is sin, then God very well my have turned you over to your lusts.
Romans 1:24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves,
All men have sexual desires which can be sinful if done outside the bounds of holy matrimony. But God demands that we set aside our lusts and follow him.
I do not believe that any man who has sexual relations with another man can be a Christian. And if you feel no guilt over your sexual sin, the God has turned you over to your lusts.
You are suffering from a delusion. If you continue down that road, then you will face judgment. You can’t stand before God and tell him that you didn’t think your behavior was sinful, or blame God for making you that way. God made all men subject to temptation. God put a tree in the middle of the garden and commanded that Adam and Eve not eat of it. But they were tempted to eat it.
God expects us to resist temptation and turn from sin not to give in to our lusts and celebrate the sin.
Just because 21 centuries have passed since Christ walked the earth does not mean that God’s declarations have been watered down or that God’s definition of sin has evolved. Times may change, but God’s word is unchanging.
God destroyed Sodom because the people there celebrated homosexual behavior. Their depravity was a cancer that infected the entire population.
Go ahead and call yourself a “Christian”. Make excuses for your behavior. You may fool the people, but you won’t fool God.
Sin is a serious matter. What you call natural and normal is still sin. Having sex with prostitutes or committing adultery is natural and normal in that all men face such temptations. It is not sin until you give into that temptation.
If your desire is for other men, then you can always choose celibacy. You don’t have to sin. You don’t have to pretend that what you are doing is good. It isn’t. it may feel good, but most sin feels good. If it did not bring us some form of pleasure, we would not be tempted.
Read Romans Chapter 1. Read it over and over and over again until it sinks in.
After you have read it, ask yourself if you really are a “gay Christian” or just another sinner in need of repentance.
