I don't know who these trolls are. I took him at his word when he claimed he thought he was a "gay Christian" and decided that I should provide him with a little religious instruction. I also thought that it would be important to share that instruction with other freepers so they would know how to respond to these claims of being "gay Christians" or other such nonsense.

I don't mind my posts being taken down, but I was accused of "actively promoting the homosexual agenda" by posting my response. I don't see it that way. I also don't see why we should have to temper our free speech here simply because it might give an ego boost to some perverted troll.

Sorry to have brought you into this spat. If you don't want us to post our responses to freep mail trolls, then I will abide by your decision. But I do disagree with your reasoning.

I can see why Jim doesn't want to give the troll a platform. I've been getting FReepmails from pro-sodomy trolls for about a year. I just forward them to Jim and the AM.

However, I do think you post had some very valuable information. Maybe it would be okay in the future if you posted them without the troll's name? Maybe Jim would agree that this would be reasonable.
