interesting that you had to go back for the last 10 years. during the Bush recovery and all that.

I just went back 5 years for this:

NEW YORK, July 26 (Reuters) - North Dakota and Alaska have
added the most jobs, while Nevada, California and Florida have
lost the most, in the last five years, according to research
released on Monday. The study of U.S. employment trends found 40 states had
fewer jobs in May 2010 than they did five years earlier,
according to Portfolio.com, a business news site that published
the research of private-sector employment conducted by American
City Business Journals. Here are the state-by-state rankings as of mid-2010:
1 North Dakota
2 Alaska
3 Texas
4 South Dakota
5 District of Columbia
6 Nebraska

Why aren’t we hearing more about Sarah Palin’s job numbers in Alaska?

BTW— my LINKED information SPANS 10 years (not “had to go back 10 years”).
