If I were a police officer,I’d welcome citizens videotaping me on the job.That's because you are honest in your endeavors, the cops who protest, object and arrest people for recording them have something to hide, they are scared and fearful their actions are not lawful and the video will show it.

Exactly, if the cops were video taped, then there would be evidence for the good ones that they were acting appropriately. And if they were bad, it could be found out quicker.
