Let’s see, what’s the bigger gaffe - a presidential candidate mixing up the location of a movie star, or the President of the United States claiming that a dead soldier is really alive. Hmmmm, I wonder.
Great point!!!
She didn’t mix up a movie star’s location and Bachmann is from Waterloo.
How about a President delivering a speech in Austria and stating he doesn’t know how the term “wheeling and dealing” is said in Austrian.
Forget knowing if someone’s alive....that idiot doesn’t even know what year it is.
I don’t know when Bachmann left Waterloo.
Bachmann could say “I always thought that John Wayne was from Waterloo. That’s what we used to think, in Waterloo, back in the day. Perhaps Waterloo “claimed” John Wayne as their own back in the day, when they shouldn’t have, when it was only his parents who lived there.” Perhaps Michelle could say she misunderstood the story when she first heard it, so many years ago, in good ol Waterloo, IA. Her case could be backed up by something like John Waynes name associated with Waterloo in the past. A John Wayne movie festival in Waterloo 30 years ago. Anything like that.
Not just a soldier, an MOH recipient, whose parents received the medal from POtuS Obama.
The media in all 57 States is probably getting their panties in a bunch over this one.
One of the things that I admire about Bachmann is that she is never at a loss for words. She can give as well as she gets.
