Remember Alec Baldwin’s rant on killing Congressional Republicans, their wives, and children?

With all of the talk of vitriolic rhetoric and images, the Left conveniently ignores so many vicious attacks–verbal and physical–on conservatives, Republicans, and anyone else who disagrees with them. They attempt to bully their political opponents into submission and silence–with the MSM in lock step with them–the mask off. And if there was even a shred of hope that the MSM would get back in the game of reporting the news, we now have confirmation that it is gone. Completely.

Obviously, this hatred of the Right and America is a long term issue, but the torch continues to be passed. Alec Baldwin, one of the Left’s darlings and possible seeker of public office, may want to hire a good strategist to develop a PR image plan to diffuse this one again ’cause apologies and saying it was a “joke” is soooo yesterday. The reality is, Alec, you meant every word. And it’s long-lost rants like this that make great campaign ads.

This is the same wonderful, kind, considerate liberal who left a recorded telephone message for his daughter, repeatedly calling her a “thoughtless little pig.

She was 11 at the time!

(snip)all of us together would go down to Washington and we would stone Henry Hyde to death! We would stone him to death! [crowd cheers] Wait! Shut up! Shut up! No shut up! I’m not finished. We would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and their children. We would kill their families.

He gets to say these things because he is a leftist Hollywood 'Star'. His statements are what is deemed 'terroristic' threats. He should have gone before a judge. Same to you Baldwin. 'Locked and loaded.' Indeed.

Simply because they live in the insular world of Hollywood, and they see themselves as a superior class of people, where the rest of the world are mere serfs.

The craziest thing:

Most liberals I know think he’s a conservative because his fictional character on 30 Rock runs NBC and (fictionally) had a fling with Condoleeza Rice.

Liberals believe that words mean what they want them to mean.
Liberals believe the end justifies the means.
Liberals believe that there is no Truth and no truth outside of the party line.
As such, liberals cannot be hypocrites. Their practice is entirely consistent with their beliefs.

Liberals also follow this one simple truth:

“Rules are for suckers”

I don’t live in the same lala land of liberals. I live in the land of reality. Thus, while liberals may “believe” in their tripe, the fact they are hypocrites still applies.

To you “hypocrite” then is just a word that means “bad.” Liberals use language that way because they have no gradations of bad and good- everything is either on one side of the (party)line or the other- so adjectives that imply good or bad are used inappropriately as a matter of course. Because they do not understand gradations they gravitate to the most extreme adjectives to express simple approval or disapproval and ignore the actual meanings of words. I like to think conservatives are interested in conserving the language as well as the religious and material culture in order to continue rational discourse so long as possible.
