The political Left's readiness to pounce on anything they think might be a gaffe or an embarrassment for conservative GOP candidates gets them into trouble on a weekly basis. They just can't help themselves. ....thankfully.

In psychological terms it's called transference. The Left doesn't want to admit or own up to the gaffes of Dear Reader ('cause he's so great) so it gets transferred to others even though the other person is right and they committed no gaffe.

In a stuffy, over-decorated office somewhere a therapist/psychologist is licking their chops at the prospect of so many potential clients.
